The Birth of Sacred Balancings: Excerpt from Rosemary’s book “Angelic Whisperings”
Throughout the many sessions with clients I was being asked to go deeper into the actual process of what was happening and to understand this process as one that actually came from the client themselves. My own journey was leading me to the understanding that by connecting with my own inner wisdom, my Divine aspect, I already had all the solutions and answers within me. This was my “knowing”.
This caused me to query then, why it would be necessary for people to come to me to receive the wisdom and insights of the metaphors. It was explained to me that so many people over time, had lost the ability to connect to their own inner voice or to even hear it, let alone trust it.
My role was not to provide them with answers, rather to connect with their own inner wisdom and basically translate for them what their own inner guidance wished to share with their human aspect at that point in time.
This made so much more sense for me and I felt that with this understanding of the process, that the “knowing” of the client was being fully honoured.
I realised at this time, that the sessions were no longer within the spirit of the healing modality of Reiki. With Reiki, the practitioner would channel energy from the Universe and send it through to the client, so that they may receive healing. My sessions had evolved to acknowledging that the client had everything within them to experience and facilitate their own healing and wisdom. I did not need to channel anything for them, simply hold a space for them to allow themselves to come back to a state of balance.
Thus Sacred Balancing was birthed into creation. |
